NY Senator Sponsoring “Clean Snow” Law

A state senator wants to make it against the law to drive away without brushing the snow off your car first.

Sen. Tony Avella is sponsoring a bill forcing drivers to remove snow from the hood, windshield and top of their cars or face a $75 fine.

The ordinance’s goal is to reduce car accidents caused by snow flying off vehicles.

Connecticut and New Jersey already have similar laws.
