Infant narrowly missed by gunshots outside Syracuse

Shots were fired at an apartment complex in a suburb of Syracuse which narrowly missed an infant inside a car.
The sheriff’s office says it happened early Sunday in Salina.
Authorities say tenants of the Orchard Estates Apartment complex were awakened by the sound of gunshots being fired around 4:20 a.m. A man and a woman with a six-week-old baby were in their car during the gunfire. Police say all three were unharmed but one of the shots came within inches of striking the child.
