Vigil held to mourn lost lives in Dallas, Minnesota and Louisiana

More than 200 people came out to a pray vigil yesterday at Temple Beth El in Oneonta to mourn five Dallas police officers killed in an ambush during another vigil, and the two black men who were killed by police in Louisiana and Minnesota. The event was put together by the NAACP’s Oneonata Branch. The mayor was there, Gary Herzig saying his heart goes out to the families who lost their lives. He commended police chief Dennis Nayor and city police for building a community here based on acceptance.
